Technology Policy

Zrek Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") aims to create value for stakeholders through technological innovation and the promotion of DX strategies, and will implement initiatives based on this policy.

How we think about technology

By utilizing the agile development system and cutting-edge technology that only a startup can offer, we are developing and implementing automation solutions that utilize robotics technologies such as business systems incorporating generative AI and collaborative robots. We provide solutions that realize innovation and efficiency in business processes at customer sites, mainly in the manufacturing and logistics industries.

By developing business systems that make full use of generative AI and data analysis technology, we will support the optimization of client companies' business processes and rapid decision-making, while also aiming to improve on-site work efficiency and ensure safety through automation solutions that utilize collaborative robots. We will contribute to improving the competitiveness of our partner companies and clients in the domestic market and achieve sustainable growth.

Technology-related management issues

  • Business Process

    • Current situation analysis and lack of standardization

      • Each of the client's business processes involves manual work and inefficient workflows, and standardization and optimization of the current workflow is required. In order to effectively implement generative AI tools, it is first necessary to clarify the bottlenecks in each process and improve data quality.

    • Complexity of system integration

      • The challenges include linking newly introduced automation tools with existing systems, as well as integrating data accumulated by each department. This calls for the development of a foundation to achieve the goal of increasing automation rates and reducing work hours.

  • Robotics introduction

    • Adaptation and customization to customer sites

      • When applying our robotics support tools to each customer's on-site environment, flexible customization to suit the equipment and operational flow of each site is required. There is an urgent need to solve technical and operational issues that address environmental variations and unique requirements.

    • Establishment of a quantitative evaluation system for the effects of implementation

      • There is a lack of a system for quantitatively evaluating the effects of introducing robotics tools (improved on-site operation rates, reduced downtime, etc.), and it is necessary to establish a system for continuous improvement based on feedback from each project.

  • Human Resource Development

    • Insufficient system to keep up with the latest technology

      • With rapidly evolving technologies such as generative AI and robotics, there are currently insufficient educational programs and environments in place to enable engineers and field personnel to constantly acquire the latest knowledge. There is an urgent need to strengthen the system by purchasing educational materials, trialing AI tools, and inviting external lecturers.

    • Lack of measurement and follow-up of course effectiveness

      • Although it is possible to grasp the participation status of training and seminars, there is insufficient information on how the knowledge is reflected in work after the course or on quantitative assessment of the level of learning. Therefore, a system is needed to grasp the extent to which technical acquisition contributes to practical improvements.

Specific DX strategies

  • Introducing and developing AI tools

    • We actively utilize the latest AI generative tools for internal and external document management and development work, improving the efficiency of daily tasks such as document creation, code generation, and review, and accelerating information sharing and improving quality.

    • We collect and analyze the output results of AI tools, usage logs, and other internal data, and use this information to continually review usage and rules, as well as improve business processes.

  • Original development of development tools to support the introduction of robotics

    • We develop our own robotics support tools to support the implementation at our customers' sites. In developing these tools, we utilize operation logs, operational data, and trouble cases collected at our own sites to improve functionality and reliability.

  • DX promotion and business improvement

    • We will implement educational programs to acquire the latest technologies. We will create an environment where engineers and on-site personnel can quickly catch up on the latest technologies by purchasing and utilizing the necessary teaching materials, trialing AI tools, and inviting external lecturers.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Achieving DX Strategies

  • Business process automation rate target : By 2028, increase the utilization rate of our systems and tools in client companies' business processes to 30% or more and reduce average work time by 20%.
    Note : We regularly evaluate the progress of automation in each client's workflow and provide feedback on improvements.

  • Robotics implementation support performance goals : By 2028, we will have completed a total of 20 projects utilizing our robotics support tools, achieving an average productivity improvement rate of 15% or more at the sites where the tools are implemented.
    Supplementary information : We will quantify the implementation effects of each project (on-site operation rate, reduced downtime, etc.) and evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Human resource development indicator target : By 2028, increase the rate of engineers and field personnel receiving training on the latest technologies to over 80%.
    Supplementary information : We will quantitatively grasp the participation rate and number of times internal and external educational programs (purchase and use of teaching materials, trial operation of AI tools, invitation of external lecturers, etc.) are held to evaluate the progress of technical acquisition.

Improving the environment and organizational structure

  • Establishment of a DX promotion team

    • To promote operational efficiency and the use of digital technology, a DX Promotion Team will be established. The team will promote the introduction and use of AI tools and robotics support tools, and support operational improvements both inside and outside the company. The team will also implement educational programs aimed at acquiring the latest technologies and improving skills.

  • Development of IT system environment

    • As an IT infrastructure that supports the promotion of DX, we will promote the development of an environment that utilizes cloud computing, AI, and data. To improve business efficiency and strengthen security, we will introduce the latest digital technologies and strive to continuously optimize system operations. Furthermore, we will develop an investment plan that includes the use of subsidies and grants, and promote the gradual development of an IT environment.
